Food Network is definitely a Mecca for fine cuisine on television. One of the many reasons I adore Iron Chef is because of Alex Guarnaschelli. She turns any show into gold. Her grounds for liking our disliking a chef are because of their culinary experience, and she never likes or dislikes a chef based on their disposition. I also adore the way Andrew Zimmern really connects with the cultures he visits, and does his best to learn the language and fit in with the common folk of the area.
